I’m not a student, so how can I get involved?

If you are looking to get involved on that Friday but aren’t a student you can always help us with volunteering. Alternatively, if you are a student and want to volunteer that is perfectly acceptable.

How much will FSC RAMhack cost me?

It’s completely free. If anything, you will walk away with more swag then you walked in with.

What if I don’t have an idea?

That’s normal. Most people don’t have an idea before they get to the event. But once you start talking to other people, you might come up with something. You can also work with somebody else on their idea if you like it. And there will be prizes at the event which might help give you some ideas. Don’t worry about it, you’ll find something to work on.

What do I need to bring?

You’ll need: Your college photo ID, a laptop and charger. Everything else is optional.

You won’t need: An idea, or a team. You can create your own team (teams of 4 recommended) during the RAMhack, and generate some amazing creations along the way. You also don’t need to worry about food, we’ve got you covered.

Is there food?

Yes, we will have you covered on eating for the day! In addition, we also have multiple places on Route 110 where you can go to!

What can I win?

It’s not about winning-it’s about exploring your passion while making great friends. But if you’re a fan of winning, we’ve got you covered. We’ve got some great prizes in stock a panel of professional judges will select the best hacks based on the following criteria: creativity, functionality, level of technical difficulty and quality. Most sponsors like to offer their own prizes as well for specific categories which are evaluated themselves.
